A New, Friendlier Name
Nocturnal Web Design is the new name of Cat Dog Sine Theta.
We like to listen, and what we heard was that a lot of you were put off by the old name and its mathematical connotations. That's why Cat Dog Sine Theta is now called Nocturnal Web Design: same great service, same low prices, new friendlier name.
We have been trading as Nocturnal Web Design since January 2008, and we first started trading back in April 2007. Also, in case you were wondering, the owl in the logo is called Gilbert, and he doesn't have a real world counterpart.
We Make Websites
We know that no one wants to pay for a service that costs the Earth, and we know that not everyone needs or wants a huge website. That's why, as well as creating websites of 5 pages, 10 pages, or more, we also offer a package of 1 page for as little as £50.
To try to simplify the process of ordering a website from us, our web design services are divided up into several packages. Full details can be found in the Packages section, and there are 4 steps involved:
- Choose the "Product" - Our "Products" are the basic website. They are based around the number of pages and you get a fully-functioning website for the price shown.
- Choose the "Extras" - The optional "Extras" are add-ons that help to make the website more exciting (such as images and photos), or cater for less common needs (such as databases).
- Choose the "Service" - The "Services" are the two options for after-sale maintenance of the website; you can pay a lump sum each year to cover any service sessions, or you can pay for each session as it occurs.
- Choose the "Payment" - The final step. We accept PayPal and cheques.
Although we now offer basic hosting, we still cannot register domain names. We can, however, offer help and advice, and we also have a Cost Calculator to give you a rough idea of the final price.
