"Packages" Help
The Packages section lists and explains the various options I offer for creating a website. The options are arranged into groups, and each option has a description and a price.
There are 4 parts of your final web design package to decide:
1. The Products
The Products are the basic packages; they represent the website itself.
The most important factors to consider when choosing the appropriate Product are: what do you want to put on the website and how do you want to display it?
The Nocturnal Web Design website, for example, tries to minimise the content on each page by dividing the information up into sections with their own page (details of the different packages, examples of previous websites, etc.). With the number of sections, this ends up being a Large website.
How many pages you need depends on how you want to divide the information.
The "per page" cost is purely for comparison; the price charged is the total cost of whichever Product is chosen.
2. The Extras
The Extras are add-ons to the basic website package. They are designed to make the website more interestng and to cater for more specific needs.
All the extras are optional
3. The Services
The Services are the after-sales packages; they indicate how any maintenance work will be paid for. They come into effect after the final delivery of the website.
Each time additional work is requested after the website is delivered, it is classed as one Service Session.
The Pay As You Go option charges £50 for each Service Session. It is billed after work is completed
The Contract option is an up-front payment that covers all Service Sessions for a year. It runs from the day it was purchased to the day before in the next year (e.g. 9th April 2007 to 8th April 2008).
"Contract" does not refer to a separate contract, but is merely indicative of the nature of the service option; you agree to pay an annual sum, and I agree to service the website while that payment is valid.
4. Payment
PayPal and cheques are accepted for payment.
PayPal is preferred, but there is no penalty for paying by cheque.
