Websites

I'd say I'm awesome, but then I am biased...

Below are some examples of websites I've designed, both for myself and for clients.

York College Old Girls Association

The website for the association of past pupils and staff of York College for Girls. The College itself closed in 1997, but YCOGA still allows its members to keep in touch through a newsletter and annual dinner.

6 times 9 Media Library

An online application - powered by Google App Engine - that allows you to build up a list of all your various media (DVDs, CDs, video games, etc.), categorise them by type, rate them, and keep track of any Items that you've lent to friends. The Types can be anything you want, so there's no limit to the sorts of Items you can track; they can be as specific or as general as you like. All you need is a free Google Account and you can log in and start cataloguing right away.

richardwinskill.co.uk

My personal website. The design is in a near constant state of flux, as richardwinskill.co.uk has typically been the place where I experiment with new techniques and ideas which I encounter. I apologise for the occasional swear word in the blog; I do not make a habit of it, and reserve it for topics that have really irritated me.

6 times 9

One of my personal websites, and the home of the various tools and scripts that I've created during the course of designing websites (such as the JavaScript that controlls the sliding menus on the left). I recently updated the design. The old design used no images and, because I quite liked it, I have left the old version in the archive as a example of what can be achieved without images.

Cat Dog Sine Theta

The website for this business prior to January 2008, when it was called Cat Dog Sine Theta. The live website has largely been replaced by this website, but a few gateway pages that do not exist here are still available. The green colour scheme was originally blue, but the green colours were chosen to complement the photo of the pebbles when it was added to the Home page.
